East Brighton Trust is collaborating with Culture Shift and Writer's Block to bring an evening of poetry to The Skep at Moulsecoomb Place on Wednesday 18th March.
Writer's Block is already established in London as a regular event for fans of spoken word and this is the first time it has ever happened in Brighton.
Headlining the event is award-winning Flo Poet Woodzy who is well known to Brighton audiences as a TedX speaker and has even performed with Stormzy. His debut poetry collection, Peace Full Thirty, includes topics such as Mental Health, The Environment and getting through life one poem at a time.
Alongside Woodzy, there will be special guests sharing their favourite poems in preparation for World Poetry Day (which is 21st March) and open mic slots will be available for audience members to share their own poems too.
Tickets are available via eventbrite here: Writer's Block Brighton TICKETS so PAY WHAT YOU CAN and be sure not to miss this new event!
