People and community, centre stage
​
EVERY Every Sort of People event is very special, bringing individuals and organisations together in a way that includes and celebrates EVERYONE through music, arts and shared activities.
Inspired by the wide variety of our work, these events connect people to experience the joy of community in a positive celebration of diversity and inclusion.

Every Sort Of People Party - Newhaven 2025
​The most recent Every Sort of People (ESOP) event was held on Saturday 19th July 2025. ESOP Party took place at The Marine Studios and The Sidings in Newhaven.
​
The event showcased Culture Shift’s portfolio of community activity, with live performances from participants in other Culture Shift projects including young people in bands as part of ‘Voices From The Edges’, a project bringing access to music to young people in Newhaven, and also Delta 7, a band of learning disabled artists who have been performing for over a decade and have been the subject of a BAFTA-nominated short film.

Over the course of the day a total of 412 people attended the event, which was supported by 20 volunteers and 15 partner organisations including Touch of Gentleness, BN1 Arts, SCDA, Figment Arts and local independent makers.
