Time Travel in Sussex

Time Travel in Sussex is a development of our successful Get Into Trains pilot project which was delivered in 2019/2020. You can read more about Get Into Trains here.
Time Travel In Sussex creates opportunities for learning disabled adults and their carers to explore a range of heritage venues in East and West Sussex located near to train stations, encouraging people to gain confidence and experience of travelling by train. We are working alongside staff and volunteers from heritage venues and colleagues from Southeast Communities Rail Partnership.

We are also working alongside the Community 21 design team from University of Brighton and learning disabled adults to produce co-designed resources to be shared with visitors at each venue.

Dates for the diary
During the next phase of this project we will be inviting the wider community of learning disabled adults in Sussex to free events at each of our partner venues with some funding available on request for transport.
