Time Travel in Sussex  is based on our successful Get Into Trains pilot project which was delivered in 2019/2020. Time Travel in Sussex is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players.

Time Travel In Sussex creates opportunities for learning disabled adults and their carers to explore a range of Heritage venues in East and West Sussex, specifically chosen because they are located near to train stations, encouraging people to gain confidence and experience of travelling by train. 


Heritage venues involved are:


We are working alongside staff and volunteers from the heritage venues and colleagues from Southeast Communities Rail Partnership. The Community 21 design team from University of Brighton are producing co-designed resources to be shared at each venue with future visitors, encouraging everyone to enjoy the venues in positive and accessible ways.
