Culture Shift was delighted to support the Freewheelers Theatre Company to bring their latest production, Destiny Betrayed, to the Birley Centre in Eastbourne as part of their tour.

The show features a cast of disabled actors who devised the piece in addition to all the original music. It was inspired by a true story of love, war and betrayal, and took the audience on a journey from a peaceful beach in 1905 through the First World War and up to the present day.

Prior to the Birley Centre performance, members of the Freewheelers Theatre Company, and Artistic Director Brandon Maguire, delivered a Get Creative workshop as part of the Arts Connect programme.

Culture Shift is proud to support such an ambitious and challenging performance and will continue to work with Freewheelers to ensure that diverse programming reaches as wide an audience as possible.
