Weald & Downland Living Museum, Singleton, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0EU

This course is the third Get Into Heritage course designed to open up heritage spaces for people with learning disabilities.

Each week, we will explore a different part of the Museum’s 40-acre site, visiting some of the 50 exhibit buildings, historic gardens and the artefact collection housed in the award winning Downland Gridshell Building. We will use a range of creative strategies to respond to what we see and find out.

The lead tutor on this 5 week course is Anne Colvin who specialises in movement and visual art.

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear to the sessions. There will be gentle walking outside as well as a warm indoor space to make and do things in. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

The course is open to learning disabled people (18+). This five week course costs £25. Please contact us if you would like to attend but would have difficulty meeting the cost.

To book, contact Elli at Culture Shift or phone 01273 478558.
